SMU’s central location is highly sought after by many. When the city campus was opened in 2005, its public concourse became a popular practice ground for many dancers from the public. These dancers practised during the evenings, using their reflections in the large glass windows of the many retail outlets once they had closed for the day. Today, these dancers have a dedicated space of their own—Studio Wu, a dance studio in the concourse.
